This Brent community garden is linked with a dynamic foodbank organisation. Come to the beautiful site, complete with pond, yurt, orchard and food growing and a lovely event structure, and find out more about the garden and Sufra, a charity that coordinates a network of food banks, kitchens, a community shop and café.
These act as a gateway for guests to access more holistic support – including welfare advice, asylum support and from the award winning community garden.
This is a relaxed networking tour open to people interested in community growing, and is a chance to meet staff and volunteers of London community gardens and city farms.
There will be an hour's tour, followed by a socialising hour with freshly picked refreshments.
Where: St Raphaels Garden 160 Pitfield Way, Stonebridge NW10 0PW (Stonebridge Park or Neasdon stations, and quite near IKEA Wembley).
