Conor from the NI team talks about the importance of working with seeds in our community gardens – seed saving, seed selection, seed breeding and seed exchange. Using the Food Security through Seed Saving and Exchange programme and the subsequent Seed It Union that emerged from it, we look at how growing and exchanging seed is not only a great community development tool, but an essential plank in any climate resilience strategy.
