This workshop is aimed at community gardening facilitators who are looking to develop professional skills in linking environmental care and positive mental health.
The workshop will acknowledge the positive action we are taking through the work we are already doing, and will hone your skills in facilitating nature-based activities and dialogue to reduce eco-anxiety and boost mental health for everyone that engages with your green spaces - including you!
The day will be clearly structured with lots of opportunity for interaction and sharing of insights.
You will explore how to build and share positivity and maintain a positive atmosphere within your site, even when the slugs eat all your salad!
You will leave feeling bouyed up and furnished with strategies to take back to your project and keep the positivity flowing. You will also leave with a pocket guide of resources to build and share your eco-optimism further.
(Please note this workshop follows on from 'Emotional Resilience on the Ground" 12th March training but can be attended as a stand alone workshop too.)
