We are celebrating Pride this year in partnership with GROW NI and The Rainbow Project, with this fun family friendly event for LGBTQ+ people and their friends and families.
Where: GROW NI community garden, in the Waterworks Park, at the end of Westland Gardens.
When: Friday 29th July 2021, 1-3pm
You are invited to help the team at Grow to clear a new area for an edible landscape. We will carry out some practical work, have some refreshments and finish with a simple planting activity. Grow Community Garden has some wheelchair accessibility, and we are happy to accommodate participants with mobility needs, please get in touch to discuss your needs before the event. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to make it easier for you to attend this event. Children under supervision of parents/guardians. Places are limited, please book. If you have gardening gloves please bring them.

- Started in 2008, GROW is a small charity working with communities to create community gardens in their area. It’s as much about growing community as it is about growing food and flowers.
- The Rainbow Project is a health organisation that works to improve the physical, mental & emotional health and well-being of lesbian, gay, bisexual and/or transgender people in Northern Ireland.
- Social Farms & Gardens (SF&G) exists to support and represent the farmers, gardeners and growers who run life-changing projects in our urban and rural communities in the UK.
