We're excited to launch a small grants fund on behalf of Bwyd Sir Gar Food to bring people together to enjoy food related activities, with a particular focus on enabling marginalised voices to contribute to forming our county’s Food Charter.
Six grants of £2,000 will be available to non-profit organisations working in Carmarthenshire to run activities using the Food Conversation Toolkit in innovative ways that will engage people experiencing marginalisation due to specific Protected Characteristics.
Funding can be used to support staff costs, small equipment purchases and, of course, food as well as other necessary costs. We are keen to hear from a diversity of groups and welcome partnership applications.
