Hackney City Farm has range of farm animals and a beautiful organic garden with wet and dry areas. There are a couple of areas for growing and grazing, plus a two-storey building with outhouses for storage etc. An award winning cafe opens daily except Monday. Volunteer programmes and regular evening and weekend activities, including upholstery, cycle maintenance, pottery and eco-living courses.

Directions: By tube: Bethnal Green - walk North along Cambridge Heath Road, turn second left down Hackney Road. The Farm is adjacent to the hospital on the corner of Goldsmiths Row and Hackney Road. By bus: Nos. 26, 48, 55 go along Hackney Road and there is a bus stop opposite the hospital.
From Hoxton take Cremer street and come out on Hackney Road. Walk east and the farm is on your left.
