Lawrence Weston Community Farm is a community-managed project that aims to improve the quality of life for local people and its service users by providing a range of innovative, exciting, educational, environmental and recreational activities in Lawrence Weston. The farm is particularly interested in combating social exclusion and providing a safe and supportive environment in which people can flourish and contribute positively to their community. Facilities include picnic area, soft play equipment in good weather, Animal Village for under 7's (small animal handling), Secret Garden, car park. Individuals and groups can hire our two meeting rooms and kitchen. We sell drinks and snacks, eggs, produce from the garden, food to feed the animals, honey from our bees. Training opporutunities include OCN Animal Care and Gardening Courses, beekeeping and also Forest School training. School holiday activities, school projects and tours.
