The Community Farm is an integral part of the The Lambourne End Centre. It is a working farm with livestock including rare breeds, where you can learn about animal husbandry and crop management. Most of the farm work has a hands-on approach and you may choose from programmes that focus on the natural environment, conservation and horticulture. Young children can meet the animals, hunt for mini bugs or go pond dipping. All programmes at the Centre offer a range of informal education and training which can improve social skills, self esteem, communication, responsibility and confidence. The focus is on developing people using a unique blend of adventure, farm and environmental activites.
