An urban farm centred on the historic thatched cottage known as Tam O'Shanter Cottage. Farm animals are reared for food, albeit on a small scale. The farm trust aims to involve as many volunteers as possible that want to learn about farm animals, nature conservation and the local natural environment. Facilities include picnic area, small amount of outdoor play equipment, cafe - open daily from 9.30-16.30 (not open Christmas Day), baby changing area, activity room and nature trail. Guided activities are free to visiting groups (donations welcome!).

Directions: From Bidston Railway Station head towards the roundabout, take A553 towards Birkenhead. Turn second right (Worcester Rd) and second left (Boundary Rd). Farm is 400 yards on the right, opposite a ruined church. From the bus stop on the A5027 (Upton Road) walk to the traffic lights, turn down Boundary Road. Farm is about 200 yards on left.
