SAGE stands for Support Arts Gardening Education. SAGE Greenfingers is a horticultural therapy project based in Grimesthorpe allotments in Burngreave in inner-city Sheffield. We support adults experiencing mental health challenges via the medium of social and therapeutic horticulture (STH). We currently run 4 therapeutic sessions per week. We also deliver training in STH both on our own site and supporting other organisations in setting up their own projects.
