The Oasis Community Gardens is now a beautiful location in the heart of a disadvantaged housing estate. Many projects are working together on the site which also includes Community Centre with activities and projects for all ages. The Gardens include a Dome Greenhouse for growing flowering plants; a Poly Tunnel which grows vegetables, Raised beds inside and outside for growing fruit and vegetables, play areas, inclusive play area for disabled children, a trim trail; Children's garden plots for the Nature Quest Kids Project; a community orchard; British tree species nursery plot; herb garden; rose garden, Climbing plants area; perennial borders; Strawberry patch, rhubarb patch; Dahlia patch; fruit bushes; Topiary trees; Composting areas; Gala space; sports area; pre school children's soft surface play park; children's sculpture project; wildflower/nature area; gazebo and sensory gardens.
The park and gardens are open every day and now hosts many projects for the community including a GALA Day, Children's Fun Days, Proms in the Park, Children's Holiday Club Care project
