We want to design and build a community garden on an area of unused communal land in our estate for residents of Beardmore (Dalmuir) and the surrounding area. Community growing space and an inviting communal area to gather were identified as a key need in our community consultation. We want to build the community garden to provide opportunities for local people to get together and to learn about horticulture, the environment and “growing your own”.
