The National Memorial Arboretum is the UK's year-round centre of Remembrance; a spiritually uplifting place which honours the fallen, recognises service and sacrifice, and fosters pride in our country. It is a living and lasting memorial. Over 150 acres, we encourage visitors of all ages to engage with the natural environment of woodland and parkland. We welcome over 16000 school students every year, encouraging them to learn more about remembrance in a unique and beautiful environment. Since 2013, we have been building our family audiences, developing programmes of activity which help support their engagement with the outdoors and the beauty of the Arboretum site.
