Star's Farm is a small farm currently comprising 5 horses and 6 sheep and 3 dogs. There are 3 rare breeds within these numbers. Over the past 10 years we have watched adults and children improve their well-being by spending time with the animals or simply being out in the countryside and fresh air.
Having observed these benefits we would like to enlarge on this aspect of the farm and progress it to a higher level. Plans are to invest in more animals such as alpacas, pygmy goats, chickens and bees and to provide raised gardens to teach children how to grow flowers and vegetables.
To do this we need to make provision for a larger indoor community area and adequate toilet facilities etc. We will also need some funding as everything we do now is on a small and free scale.
