Our mission is to build practical skills and knowledge in edible culture. Our Forest Garden at Coed comprises of dozens of fruit trees, vegetables, perennial and annual herbs, and over 30 hives of honey bees. We host workshops, courses and volunteer opportunities from our site in the Vale of Glamorgan.
Through the Ediculture ‘eight phases of Ediculture framework, we aim to build skills and understanding in: 1) foraging, 2) agroecological growing food, 3) designing edible food growing spaces using permaculture principles, 4) seasonal connection, 5) nutrition, 6) herbal medicine, 7) working with people and 8) nature connection.
