Humber Llamas is run by Sam Cromack, a registered learning disability nurse, and has been set up to provide occupational day placements/day care services for adults with learning disabilities, Autism and challenging behaviour. As an inclusive service Humber Llamas also has a customer focused side offering llama experiences and treks. Day service users are able to be involved in all aspects of the business, learning about animal management, land management, customer care, conservation and horticulture. Humber llamas offers specialist sessions, using Animal Assisted Therapy to promote good mental health, promote independence and build confidence.
