Incredible Edible Prestwich & District (IEPAD) was set up in June 2010 by a group of local people keen to develop a community approach to the growing and eating of locally produced food. We are all volunteers and contribute in various ways, whether organising, gardening or helping at events. Like many other Incredible Edible groups up and down the country we’re following in the footsteps of Incredible Edible Todmorden who pioneered the idea.
We have sites at parks and sites in many places around the Prestwich area. They range from forest gardens in Prestwich Clough and Philips Park to an allotment in Sedgley Park.
