We are a homeless charity providing residential services (150 beds) to people with mental ill health and victims of domestic violence, alcohol and drug misuse. We have leased some land which we call the" smallholding" and we teach the residents animal husbandry and where their food comes from. We have pigs, pheasants, ducks, geese, guinea fowl, tumbler pigeons, chickens and guinea pigs. We also have polytunnels to start veg growing prior to planting out. Our residents benefit greatly in terms of their mental health and wellbeing.
