We are a small independent specialist school who cater for 30 children and young people, who have Autism and complex needs. We have a large polytunnel where we grow our own food produce, cook and harvest. We look after animals on site and have our own farm, with horses, donkeys, goats, chickens, pigs. Our children take part and experience a range of activities.

We offer work experience for other schools, and are a recognised Forest school provider. We have a developing orchard area, and raised vegetable beds for each house group. We hope to engage more with the community and sell produce externally, as well as developing a bird hide and fire pit area. We have our own tranquility garden where staff and children can relax in a sensory environment that we developed ourselves. We also have a nature trail where we have made and put up bat and bird boxes for wildlife.

We encourage our young people and children to take part in making seed packets, natural decorations, and craft to sell at our internal markets which happen twice a year. We wish to try and develop links with the community to have a stall at local events/fetes. Other future plans include planning and hosting a flower show for other schools/community projects to attend. We have a plant shop on site where we sell plants to staff. We might be developing our own riding area, and have other schools to come in and look after and tend our animals.
