Our site has been left to nature for 20+ years. There is a wide range of edible and medicinal plants and fungi already in residence. It is our goal to create a productive natural system, introducing functional crops following permaculture design principles and agroforestry techniques. We want to provide a space where all five kingdoms of life can thrive.

This provides a wonderful learning opportunity for our guests/beneficiaries (and us!).

We offer the following:

1. Forest school stay and play sessions (under 5s). Children and their caregivers are able to explore and interact with the space during free play sessions every Wednesday and Friday

2. Nature club (5-8 years). Structured holiday clubs for older children where we engage in woodland crafts and learn about permaculture design techniques and harnessing natural resources.

3. Special educational needs (8- teens+) - launching in 2023. A more hands on approach for young people who do not fit the mainstream education system. An opportunity to be part of the production team, learning to care for the land, soil, crops and wildlife.

4. Market garden. In 2023 we will install a market garden, run by our SEN classes which, it is hoped will supply an organic, plant-based cafe in Winchester or the surrounding area.
