JTG was established in 2020 and grew out of the five-year Glebe Project and works with volunteers and user groups to provide a place of welcome and work in our beautiful four acre Gairden. We run a community market garden to provide a source of locally-grown produce for sale at our onsite stall, to supply Edinburgh Community Food and to donate – free of charge – to the Greenhouse Food Larder in Niddrie for families in need. We welcome everyone but place emphasis on providing supported places to people with experience of loneliness, bereavement, social isolation, mental health problems, drug/alcohol abuse, learning difficulties and those seeking to learn new skills to improve their employment prospects.

Facilities: Cafe, Volunteering, Shop, Community space for hire, Picnic area, Community recycling/composting, Play area, Wildlife area, Sustainable/Green building on site
