We are an Independent Specialist College, and we work with young adults with complex additional learning needs and disabilities, teaching them to self-advocate, build skills and find greater independence.

We are devoted to the people in our care, every contribution is valued – learners, residents, volunteers and staff all benefit hugely from our culture of community living. Our work is grounded by principles of inclusion, mutual respect and increasing the life chances of people with autism, learning difficulties and disabilities.

Our Land Based Tutor Group are looking for some new exciting projects and competitions to work on and would like to reach out to the wider community and other external organisations to work collaboratively on garden / animal care projects. We are based in Rhandirmwyn, Carmarthenshire in South Wales and we are surrounded by acres of land! We would love to hear from you on any exciting projects we could work on, or some competitions we could enter.

We have a range of gardening projects on the go such as composting, building raised beds, growing your own fruit & vegetables, honesty tables enterprise etc. We also have a wide variety of small and large animals such as alpacas, donkeys, goats, pigs, rabbits, chickens, ducks and even some little guinea pigs where the learners care for them on a daily basis.
