The Conservation Volunteers (TCV): Connecting people and green spaces to deliver lasting outcomes for both. TCV runs activities primarily targeted at disadvantaged children and adults in urban areas. Our programmes help people improve their physical and mental health & wellbeing, confidence, skills and prospects though learning by being outdoors, active and connected with others. The TCV Meridian One Community Garden is a meanwhile site in the Meridian One development in North Tottenham providing weekly gardening Green Gym volunteering sessions which are inclusive to all abilities and often have people come to us through social prescribing channels. We hold nature themed activities for under 5's every week, encouraging children to play and learn outdoors with scavenger hunts, plant identification, messy play mud kitchens and nature based arts and crafts . The food that is grown here is grown by and distributed to the local community. We also run seasonal events and workshops that are free to attend and run by local practitioners.
