Life at No.27 are a horticultural therapy and mental health support organisation founded in 2019. The main purpose of our organisation is to use nature, therapeutic conversation and human connection to support anyone experiencing mental ill health, low confidence, self-esteem, and isolation. Building confidence, self-belief, and inner purpose, whilst encouraging autonomy and the opportunity to learn new skills.
Life at No.27's purpose is to provide high quality effective mental health support in a safe, outdoor environment and to help improve the overall wellbeing and offer new skills learning opportunities for children and adults struggling with mental ill health, isolation and SEND.
We operate in Northamptonshire and Powys, and our main beneficiaries are children and adults experiencing mental health difficulties in these communities. This includes local adults of all ages who are diagnosed with mental ill health, ranging from anxiety, post-natal depression and depression to psychosis and schizophrenia and children struggling with mental ill health, low confidence, difficult home environments and/or Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
