We are a community wellbeing garden supporting the wellbeing of our local community through horticulture and conversation. space2grow was set up by a CAMHS family psychotherapist to address the impact of social isolation on children and families in the local community. To date our projects have benefitted thousands of local people of all ages. We are an award winning charity with experience of delivering extremely cost effective, highly impactful projects including space2play, a forest school style stay and play for 2-4 year olds and their parents, gardening groups for older adults, parenting classes, wellbeing groups for EBSNA (Emotionally Based School Non Attendance), nature club for 8-10 year olds who are either from disadvantaged backgrounds or needing mental health support, a young carers group for 8-14 year olds, men in sheds, a group which undertakes woodworking projects for local community organisations. This all takes place in our one acre beautifully wild garden in the centre of Farnham, Surrey. Our garden is also used regularly by local Primary schools as an outdoor learning space and by other local groups.
