Everywhere and under our noses, some plants seem common to us and yet, like us, they are in fact extraordinary, humble, powerful and resilient. Primarily perennials; trees, dyes herbs and vegetables grown to give away. Promoting symbiosis and abundance.

Half of this highly productive 2 hectare speck of space in south Devon is a border of 1, 700 of 11 mixed species trees for our forest garden. We also have a 100 tree orchard of locally sourced fruit trees and community growing spaces for herbs and dye plants.

All the species are useful to us and harvested for their edible, medicinal, veterinary, pigmentation and horticultural properties. We are still learning, becoming, growing and market testing products.

We deliver sessions for a local charity working to enrich the lives of neuro diverse young people. We are wheelchair accessible with our own all terrain wheelchair plus ramps and accessible toilet and shower.

We are certified organic with BDA Certification, providing habitat for the local wildlife, rooted in the local community and economy. We have measured biodiversity doubling annually. We are under net zero carbon emissions, in 2021 we captured 14.5 tonnes of C02. We are off grid and use water from the sky and power from the sun for all that we do.

We use the principles of regenerative agroecology, permaculture and local economy. We are members of the Landworkers Alliance. We are registered as a company limited by guarantee. We are members of Nature Recovery Network. This is a social business, not for profit, responsible and ethical.
