Give Two Figs currently raises money through educational art sales (and where applicable grant funds) to support currently two community growing spaces in Norfolk (although it hopes to increase the number of site it can help set up and support over time):

-Hevingham community allotment currently used by a local child minder and 11 local families, and hopefully soon to be expanded to incorporate a space for the local Primary school.

-Hevingham Community Garden at Hevingham Village Hall, a publicly accessible garden open 24/7, where; productive fruit and veg crops are grown by and for the local community, weekly volunteer sessions are held, as well as monthly weekend activity sessions, and anyone can come and enjoy the space and harvest fruits and herbs.

Give Two Figs supports through the coordination and fund raising for all necessary activities to set up and maintain these sites with the help of lots of local volunteers

The Social Purpose of Give Two Figs are:

1.To connect people to nature and our environment, in order to aid appreciation and understanding of the benefits of ecological stewardship and reducing our environmental footprints.

2 To assist communities to gain the many benefits that nature, and caring for nature, provides to our health and wellbeing.

3. To enhance access to local growing spaces, and to provide skills & support for individuals, families and communities to grow their own produce as naturally as possible.

4 To Reinvest 100% of annual trading surplus (profit) back into the company in support of its social purpose. The company is limited by guarantee, subsequently all surpluses are retained in the business and reinvested In the community purpose of the organization.
