We are currently a livery yard and equine rehabilitation centre . I’m a qualified Equine Physiotherapist. I’m also currently doing a degree in Psychology and counselling and I’m on a CEVAS (Countryside Educational Visits Accreditation Scheme) course.
I’m looking to do Equine therapy, being in nature, creation of 10 acres of new woodland , care of woodland, willow working and farm garden for “Farm to fork” and science based projects.
I would like to aim this at under 18’s for neurodiverse children and young people, those struggling with mental health, those excluded or struggling in mainstream education, those in the foster system and marginalised communities.
Our mission statement will be “At Woodwick Farm we aim to provide a safe place in nature where an individual can develop and find their self worth”.
