The Blackthorne Trust are a Mid Wales-based social enterprise, involving the community in rural heritage, local food production, and cultivating a love of the land.
Our objectives are to carry out, for the benefit of the general public:
- The preservation, communication and promotion of our rural heritage
- The maintenance and care of rare breed flocks, heritage seed varieties, native tree and flora species, and soil health and microorganisms
- The preservation and communication of edible and medicinal foraging practices
- The comprehension and promotion of the ontological value of our rural heritage
