The Wilds Farm CIC facilitates access to agricultural processes, including the preparation, maintenance, and harvest of produce to understand the origins of food sold in supermarkets and engage with the British countryside. Of central importance within this project is increasing accessibility to agricultural spaces; whether physical, emotional or financial. Some clients will access this provision for therapeutic purposes while others will benefit from skills development, work experience and accreditation opportunities.
We aim to improve community connections, expanding opportunities of those with accessibility needs to attend and collaborate within green, agricultural spaces. By creating these opportunities for clients with reduced pressure and increased support, we hope to bridge existing community gaps as well as boosting opportunities to clients to experience the food production process.
