I’m looking to set up a social farm CIC to help children missing from education (CME) in the Forest of Dean. Most likely anxious and disadvantaged 11 - 19 year olds as they are high risk of modern day slavery, being exploited and hopefully prevent them from engaging in criminal activities. I’d be using animals and horticulture as a social lubricant and the farm setting as a therapeutic environment for them to access a safe space to talk to trusted adults, meet new peers, engage in functional activities and gain new life skills which will inspire them to grow into confident, productive individuals into the community
