Join our weekly Food Growing Sessions For wellbeing. We grow vegetables, fruits, herbs, trees and flowers, in raised beds and polytunnels. Learn and share gardening skills. Sit down for a cup of tea and a chat. Share the harvest. We use Organic growing techniques and encourage wildlife. We are part of Sheffield Flourish.
We meet every Tuesday at Grimesthorpe Allotments
Winter gardening hours: 12:30 - 4pm
Summer gardening hours: 1:30 - 5pm
Public Transport – from Sheffield City centre, take the 97 or 98 bus. Get off at the first stop on Scott Road, it’s just a 3 minute walk from there, head uphill on Ellesmere Road north to the end of the road then follow the footpath down to the right which leads to the gates.
Parking – they suggest you park on Grimesthorpe Road, by the junction with Torbay Road. It’s free, and close to the site. The postcode is S4 8LE
