We’re hosting a Have a Grow Day

Filton Community Garden

Address: Corner of Elm Park,
by Filton Active Nation Leisure Centre
Filton
BS34 7PF
Description:

We offer a community space open to all 24/7, designed for able and less able people to enjoy. Drop in volunteers are welcome at our two weekly Saturday morning sessions to help tend to the garden, socialise, learn and play.

Employers, local clubs, schools and groups arrange project sessions with us also which benefit the garden, visitors and volunteers alike.

In doing this we have created a wonderful garden, an oasis of peace in an otherwise busy urban area which uplifts all who pass through.

What events and activities do you have planned for the day?:

Take a garden tour and find out about our planting for climate change and for pollinators.
Get your gloves on and help with planting, weeding and deadheading.
Meet the volunteers for a chat and a snack.
No experience necessary, equipment provided.

Will you be open on the day?:

On 8 June from 11 am to 1 pm our volunteers are on hand to show you around.
Every day we are open 24/7 so if you can't make the time above do drop by or choose to join us at one of our Saturday 'Gardening Get-Together' sessions.
